Our conservatory provides quality education in line with international standards from primary school to university. Our institution, whose local and foreign teaching staff members provide training to students from Adana and the Çukurova region as well as other parts of Turkey, comprises a Department of Music, a Department of Stage Arts, and a Department of Musicology. The national and international activities in the field of music and stage arts that we have engaged in since our conservatory was established have increased the regional and national interest in art and art-related events. The awards, degrees, and successes we obtained at various national and international events provide ample evidence of the excellence of the training imparted at our institution. To support a lively exchange of information and teaching staff and to enable our students to study abroad, we maintain good relations with numerous universities in other countries. Many of the students who graduated from our conservatory now serve as artists at operas, orchestras, and theaters in Turkey and abroad. In this way, Çukurova University makes an invaluable contribution to the level of awareness to art in Turkey. On its path of 'contemporary civilization', Adana is shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the world in the field of art and other fields. We are proud to serve as Adana's representatives of art, the indispensable rhythm of our age.





ANNOUNCEMENT


	The Cukurova University State Conservatory was established in 1989 for the purpose of providing international art education and analyzing, developing, and promoting Anatolian art in compliance with global standards. To achieve this objective, our institute's international teaching staff prepares its graduates to serve as orchestra, opera, and theater artists. The admission of new students to our institution which provides primary school, high school, and undergraduate education takes place on the basis of talent assessment examinations that are held every June and September. The conservatory enlists part-time students from the 1st grade on, full-time string instruments and piano students for the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades, and singing and wind instruments students for the 9th grade. Moreover, high school graduates are admitted to the theater division on the basis of their ÖSS (Student Selection Examination) base score after passing an entrance examination.
